if you wouldn't mind, please clarify something for me. I'm trying to learn ASL. Taken many classes. Recently joined a church with a Deaf ministry. When I use ASL I'm told I'm too poetic or artsy. Please tell me how I can know how to sign songs and converse. My church only has 2 Deaf who've had some education in English and they both have hearing parents who don't use asl. I'm very discouraged.
