Ugh....H2O mod still sounds like the horrible stock BD-2.

Try the MHP Galaxie-Mod. It truly fixes all the things wrong with the stock BD-2.

No more harsh splatty treble, full tone knob usage and reasonable gain.

@TheF86Sabre That is just the name they decided for the pedal, for marketing reasons presumably. What the pedal does is try to emulate a tube amplifier being overdriven. There is nothing more metal than tube amplifiers being overdriven.

Going through the clean channel on the amp with the pedal, gives you that blues crunch. All I am saying is, there are pedals for metal this isn't one of them!

This is an analog pedal and I think you'll find most high end effects processors (i.e Eventide, TC electronics etc) are digital processors. A lot of guitar players have a fear of digital technology after hearing a Zoom 505 or some low end pedal.

As to the pedal, I think the mod pretty much ruined this pedal. Stock is far superior to this... turn it back and ask for a refund... and it is kind of noisy imo...

I dont see the point to this mod really. The pedal started as a "blues" driver, a type of mid tone saturated, fat bottomed blues overdive. If you want less "fuzz" grab a Boss SD-1 or an MXR Wylde Overdrive depending on your tolerance for harmonic flattery of course. If anyone doesn't like the tone/sound of a blues driver and haven't attempted to play blues through it, then please do. I'm not ryin to piss anyone off, just chill. I think this mod ruins a good blues overdrive.

this pedal is the perfect pedal for blues, i had one and then sold it after a while with my other pedals to buy a GT 8...big mistake, the GT8 is good but does`nt come anywhere near the tone of the blues driver or the OD3 which is another fantastic pedal for blues rock which is also why i am selling the GT8 to go back to my pedals...i miss them so much.
