true, its basically 5 iron sticks and especially this crane is pretty close to many DIY constructions. but its quite easily explained why they have to sell their products that expensive. 1.) its build in euopre, a rather expensive place to produce. 2.) there are not that many people out there who will by a crane at all (regardless the costs), so thatswhy they need to finance their company from selling only few items

that's pointless since 99% of the people on YouTube use a mobile phone or a normal generic digicam or some times web cams if everyone on YouTube was rich enough to afford a pro camera like that one then they would probably be doing something else with it like shooting a movie or something, ill stick to my tripod thanks
