@mycrimsonregrets nearly all tool songs r drop d but a couple have been done in drop b eg parabola if u want to learn drop d playing adam jones is the man he is sort of god like figure haha

@cam01235 Yeah, drop D is pretty standard for Tool and Adam Jones is one of the best (most fluent and unique) in that tuning. The only song that comes to mind right now for me is Prison Sex, which I believe is in drop B.

@cam01235 not exactly. reissue more then likely as the grey is still grey, and the 80's models like jones uses have a greenish tint to them.

@txjfk936 oh yeah cheers dude u r right of coourse..the oroginal silverburst customs were stopped being made by gibson coz the paint and finish deteriated..adam jones reckons they sound better..i am not suire here but i think there was only a couple of thousand of those oroginal silverbursts made..apparently adam puts a duncan seymour JBs in the bridge and Tony Iomi in the neck apparently his axes r customised but there is a little mystery and gibson have made a guitar with his specs

@cam01235 im pretty sure they did re issue the silverburst tho becauz they have them at guitar center. they have a regular one and the have a special edition one

@MegaHellcat666 Yeah, the ones that Adam Jones specifically looks for are the defect silverbursts. apparently there were a bunch manufactured with some defect in the silver paint used that gives them a green-ish tint. those are his favorites.

@murrayadam89 its not a defect. the metal in the paint is oxydating over time. even the never epiphone remakes do this. i just realised this, when i removed some of the parts. underneath wher no sunlight gets it was still brilliant silver....every other part started to get light green
