  • Vinylsolution-thanks for these outstanding videos, love this time era in my life-so many of these songs bring back fond memories of my childhood from the late 60's early seventies!!!

  • im not native in english, but which accent is this one? they sing just like "proud mary keep on bwarning" or something like that

  • southeastern USA accent

  • oh ok man, is that specific from new orleans probably, or more like a generic southern accent?

    thanks for the answer

  • The dialect he's using is sort of mixture of southern accents. Little bit of cajun, Southern Appalachian, and African-American from Louisiana/Mississippi gulf area. Like he's been listening to old country and black blues and just put them together. And in a damn nice way, nonetheless. I say this as a native Southerner.

  • @Raughwe great man, thanks for the good answer, very informative. i think it sounds pretty nice and different too, very genuine.

  • @Raughwe this band is from California, while they have a sound of southern infused music, they are from Pacific Coast.

  • @rbrjony- Knew that.

  • @rbrjony: Already knew that (like 30+ years ago). And that has nothing to do with the question at hand.
