  • i riffed this movie

  • MST3K would have had a field day with this movie. Every other line Im hearing riffing left and right.

  • i really like this movie!

  • LOVE THE VIOLINS AT 1:12:44

  • The guy totally shoots at him at 1:08:43 but there's no gunfire sound.

  • Finally got to see this famous bad movie. Not the worst movie ever made, but pretty awful!

  • Tank you ImageEntertainment

  • At 1:09:53 what is the name of the production music used? i've heard it so many times but I can't locate any info.

  • @TheForgottenFlesh Why even as a demon would you not be able to defend youre self if a hoodlum was taking you out to kill you at the behest of a gun??????????/ bull

  • @mrbamajama Simple, the sun didn't affect him yet. It's no different than a werewolf or Hyde type monster. It happens when it happens, it's not an automatic thing when he's in danger.

  • Demon sharts his pants at 1:12:53 LOL!

This is the first time I've ever saw this movie.

    Very entertaining!

  • Looks like this film was an inspiration for Prophecy.

  • love film..hate google ads

  • Same music was used for "Night Of The Living Dead".This movie was A.K.A. "Lassie vs. The Horny Toad Man".What Joan Rivers would look like without cosmetic surgery. The Demon will battle Snake Pliskin in the 2011 movie release of "Escape From LA Terrarium".

  • I saw that there is another sci-fi movie here called: "The Brain that wouldn´t die". Lol, pretty weird title!

  • @PeterRoeder31

    The Brain That Wouldnt Die

    Thats a GREAT movie!

  • why in gods name are they in a convertable

  • why in gods name are they in a convertable

  • Before this video started I had to watch a car advertisement!! I don't want to watch adds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhahahhhahahahah!!!!!!!!!

  • @Fintinobrien - THANKYOU! I feel the same way- I've decided that I just won't return to Channels that do that. Most don't -hopefully we can keep it that way.

  • The movie utilized the old stock cue library of its credited "composer", John Seely, who'd distribute cues by an immense multitude of composrs out of Capitol Records, the same ones heard in so many popular productions, right down to cartooons and TV science fiction and comedy shows, of the era..The trailer seen elsewhere's narrated by the one and only Paul Frees [doesn't taske much to recognize that voice!].

  • Great classic sci-fi fun here! Some great lines..."Gil's always careful when he handles isotopes"..."whiskey and soda mix, not whiskey and science"!!!

  • So...the story is about a man exposed to radiation and the sun turns him into a horney lizard. . .riiiight. Not as bad as "The Incredible Melting Man" but still bad, still no acting but at least this has a poor story. I guess that's better compared to none. I take it this was made when Breast Implants started becoming popular...AHEM. Is that music from The Wolfman I hear around the thirty-six minute mark?

  • Arguably one of the greatest one-star films ever made. Robert Clarke's acting abilities are exceeded ONLY by the Immortral William Shatner, and the supporting cast was the best since the characters in "The Wizard of Oz". Kudos! A masterpiece from the the vault of Pacific International Pictures, Inc.

  • cheap simple fun.

  • cheap simple fun.

  • Gotta love these cheesy old B-movies. Made a spoof of them myself years ago. How come every time he turned into the monster, he looked like he soiled himself. LOL

Notice at the end, when the police car is driving off, it's going to drive into a fence.

  • @JourneyMaster Maybe we were`nt supposed to notice haha.

  • I love this old movies. They are so...so...innocent...

  • I love these old movies. The music is so dramatic.

  • why did the ghost busters put that man in the back of their car at the begining......

  • I saw this movie as a kid at the Saturday Matinee at my hometown theatre. It scared the hell out of me and I had nightmares for weeks.

    Imagine that.....LOL

  • @PmcqR39CMp really how bad was your nightmares

  • The Hideous Sun Demon is a Classic SciFi and the mouse is quite a little funny byt they made reference to it when they played on a Halloween television marathon this past Halloween. No mice were hurt in the Movie when the Sun Demon picked up and squeezed just some type of special effect I wonder if that mouse is still around LOL.

  • OMG,,need i spend too much time to watch,

  • I remember seeing the late great actor Robert Clarke as a regular on a syndicated show called "Faith for Today" (produced by the 7th Day Adventist Church, though I don't think Robert was a 7th Day Adventist). It played on a local indepdendent TV station in the 70's & 80's. Robert portrayed a doctor at the fictional "Westbrook Hospital". And he put out an interesting autobiography before he died..."To B or Not to B" (as in B movie...which most of his films were). Thanks for posting this!

  • I used to be employed at Atomic Research, Inc but our work relationship decayed.

  • That was pretty funny--do you own your own house, or are you Roentgen?

  • I wasted an hour in the local video store looking for something in Sci Fi and gave up. Glad I did, this was a fun movie.

  • the monster is really funny :)

  • haha! The grasshopper turns into a spider when exposed to x-rays.

  • terrible ending:(

  • Solid old B movie!** B to A- rating (see if, you never saw it before)** I can see why this is a cult classic, great monster makeup for the time period! Could've been one of the classic monster greats, if better executed. I could see a good battle royal between the "Demon" and the "Creature from the Black lagoon" or the "Wolf-man." Too bad, "the demon" faded into obscurity. Maybe, someone will make a modern day remake..hmmm

  • you can buy the mask y don`t u remake it?

  • solid old B movie...great monster make-up for the period. The science lesson at the start was great.. I was waiting for J.R. Bob Dobbs to step in and save the day, LOL. I can see why its a cult classic..I love the sun change concept, if was a little more believable and not so fast. Too bad "the demon" never got any more popular, could you imagine him against the "creature from the black lagoon" or the wolf man? Could've been one of the greats if was a little better executed. just an opinion, A-

  • Funny how the monster has work trousers on haha

  • perhaps a bit stronger sunscreen would've helped

  • Odd i onlly saw it cuz the misfits hosted the movie

  • This is obviously where Stan Lee got the idea for the Lizard. He just mixed this with that other weird lizard movie-Aligator Man.

  • maybe a bit stronger sunscreen would've helped

  • What is your problem Gil? What are you ashamed of? Why are you trying to run away from your own ethnicity? You should be proudly proclaiming to the entire world I AM A FRIGGIN SUN DEMON!!! YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT?????"

And why did you kill that poor rat if you didnt intend to eat it?

And where is Sergeant Joe Friday when the LAPD really needs him?

  • LOL

  • "Darwin didn't even scratch the surface." What an arrogant thing to say...

  • A king Kong inspired fall at the end.

  • clever and smart scifi film!

  • What Fun! This is the stuff of classic Sci Fi, and Trudy, played by Nan Peterson, is dreamy!

  • Really good! And, the actresses are hot (especially Trudy/Nan Peterson). With updated special effects, this would even be worth re-making, as the themes and pathos are the stuff of classic Sci Fi.

  • As Hideous Sun Demons go, he was one of the best.. Too bad he and Trudy never got to have any little ankle-biter Sun Demons.

  • How can you be so sure there wasn't eventually a little ankle-biter Sun Demon? What do you think they were doing out on that beach all night, star gazing?

  • cool cop cars

  • "So why the dark glasses at night?"

So I can, so I can keep track of the visions in my eyes.

  • this one used to be a grasshopper but has some how turned into a tarantula.

  • A story about the scientist who tried out the first tanning booth that turned into a monster and ravaged the planet untill defeated by Dr. Who.
