I have noticed an onslaught of comments for videos such as this, stating that it is "not cardio-kickboxing." Having competed professionally in Muay Thai for many years, I can say virtually anything that incorporates kicks (regardless of how impractical to fighting) between aerobic sets is perfectly suitable under the title "Cardio kickboxing."
If you wanted to learn how to fight, this definitely is not going to service you. As a cardio kickboxing routine however, this gets an A.
Of all the cardio kickboxing routines I have come across on Youtube, this is the best. Having just taken a part-time cardio kickbox instructor job to make extra money, watching this has supplied me with a great template.
Excellent video! High intensity and the moves are duable for those that may be new to cardio kickbox and/or for those that don't do it regularly like me--but that will change. ;-)
I thought when we kick backwards were supposed to look back and throw teh kick a bit to teh side not directly back to protect our backs. Im not sure does anyone know?
its called a backthrust kick and u just trust that your supporting foot, knee and spine are perfectly aligned for the kick to be accurate - turning your head when doing a backthrust is ill advised as it sets you off balance and could also dmg your neck
mmmkay well i got lost on the second part, but pretty good, i would say she needs more help describing the movements before you do them. darn actors trying to be fitness trainers!
