  • Thank you!!!! So glad I watched this before I butchered my roses! Does the same rule apply for shrub roses? Also, do I remove all foliage if there is some underneath my cuts?

  • @saburkel: After the first hard frost in the winter.  Or in January in milder weather.

  • I bought this rose bush at Wal-Mart, it was pitiful and I wanted to try to save its life so I had to prune it down to nothing. I hope it will make it.
