Could you recommend tutorials, I have ordered too many books, and would like to create collages, replacing background, and digital scrapping, what would you recommend a great starting place for me to start with the program, I started to purchase Photoshop full version, but I dont even know the basic, just would like to master elements first. Your advice is really valued and appreciated.

  • I have a problem. Everytime I hold the Alt key and click in between the layers my picture disappear. What happened? Please Help Me!

  • @Angellafaye21 Make sure you are between the text layer and your picture. The text layer must be below the picture layer.

  • @c130bulldawg Ok, Thanks!

  • @monicazumbado thanks for stopping by.

  • Hey... Great vid as always, but i was wondering if you could do a tutorial with the dodge and burn tool technique... thank you so much.

  • @RMO6701 no worries. I don't really use dodge and burn much anymore. I normally add an overlay layer with 50 grey and paint with black and white. I have a video on that technique. I think it is much better than the dodge and burn. But I will try to come up with a useful tutorial using d and b. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • @c130bulldawg .. Thanks for the speedy response Mr.C, oooh i forgot to mention one little detail. Im a rookie when it comes to Photoshop, But im a quick learner and im determined to learn it. I need to learn the techniques a.s.a because im a photographer. If you have a video on that overlay technique i will go and watch in now. Thanks again sooooo much.

  • @RMO6701 I'm not in town right now otherwise I could send you the link. I responding via phone. When I get back I'll point you to my photograper oriented videos.

  • I really enjoyed this tutorial. This is the type of use that I would never know about without a tutorial. I used it with a shape also.....very cool. As I've now used layer masks, I see how that works, but I'm not exactly sure what the term "clipping groups" means. Can you explain?

  • @HowdyDG I hope I didn't confuse you. A clipping group is the thing that superimposed the pictures on the number.

  • @c130bulldawg Okay, I think I understand.....that was where we clicked in between each layer and that made a "clipping group" which ultimately superimposed the pictures on the number.

  • cool.

  • @RMO6701 Glad you stopped by.
