Hmmmmmmm. Well lesson or not its interesting and the thought came to me -- since you play both instruments how would you try to simulate that effect on the mandolin?
I've got some ideas, but they simply wouldn't be as "neat" because this is a technique that you can't do without a bow... It would probably just turn out as yet another variation.
