I must say that this excerpt makes beautiful Angela look even more human, humble and spontaneous than usual. Meeting her idol at her own home must have been such a thill! Thanks for posting: it shows how some of the contemporary singers still have some sort of respect, consideration and admiration for our Golden Age singers, and Zeani is one of the best exponents of that now almost lost generation of great singers.

I completely agree with the lovely Angela Gheorghiu; Mme. Zeani truly is an operatic phenomenon! The venerable Zeani's huge operatic range, has been celebrated, from exquisite Bel Canto to riveting Versimo! Always evocative, the consummate actress, Zeani contributions to opera, both as performer and as professor, are enormous! Ms. Gheoughiu has chosen to reach for the stars, and I congratulate her on her choice, and wish her great success in her endeavors.
