I think in America, they will most likely censor anything. This anime is about romance, magic, and adventure. :/ They exclude many parts like when Shaoran blushes or thinks about Sakura. The whole show loses feeling and moo; making it boring. Also, they change most of its script. I love the Brazilian and Japanese version better.

@Snorkai, no i know why they replaced the openings. the japanese openings would have been considered inappropriate for american audiences so they whitewashed them. they do it all the time with foreign shows. cardcaptor sakura was kind sexualized in the japanese openings and i think that is why it was replaced.

Whilst the lyrics are ever so slightly ridiculous now that I listen to them again, I think the mood of the opening far suits the actual nature of the anime - and it's certainly what got me to watch the show.

The Japanese openings (the ones I could bear to listen to all the way through...bleh) are far too nicey-nicey. For an anime that is majorly to do with 'disaster striking', they don't work. :S

It is actually the OTHER WAY AROUND. Both Tsubasa Chronicles and Card Captor Sakura are works by CLAMP, with Card Captor Sakura being the earlier work. TC is alternative universe to CCS (if you've also watched xxxHolic, a paraellel timeline manga to TC, you'd know), therefore a lot of the characters in TC is doubles of the original casts in CCS.

I love this one! But Platinum is my favorite. This one just makes me pumped up. It feels like it has the theme of 'Friendship Is What Makes People Strong' or 'Friendship Is The Only Thing You Need To Win A Battle!' when it' not.
