@SycrosD4 GAMES SUCK TODAY . i got this game in second grade viewtiful joe and splinter cell two of the best games of my life . Viewtiful Joe is unheard of now and Splinter Cell conviction killed the franchise . I remember getting GTA San Andreas a year after the first viewtiful joe with viewtiful joe 2 . Man those were the days . Now it's call of duty , halo , call of duty again each fucking year .

That and what Nintendo's rolling out are just as great as what you got back in the 64/PS1 days and before (replacing Sony with Sega, etc.). Pretty much blame the 360 for saturating the market with shooters upon shooters.

The second game was streamlined and oversimplified terribly . And dlc for games like mvc3 with content thats already on the disc but locked so you pay them to unlock it . It's a slew of things that piss me off about gaming today truely the worst generation in gaming . I can't wait for next gen

Wow dude, no offence, but you are really looking at the negatives. Theres plus and minuses of all generations of consoles. This generation was very innovative. You look at KZ as a generic shooter, but there are so many things about it that make it unique, some of which are atmosphere and graphics. What about Uncharted, Infamous, Resistance 1 and 2, Halo: Reach, Gears of War 1, Heavy Rain, etc. There is so much to enjoy about today's games. Check out bulletstorm while you're at it.

The reason for no Viewtiful Joe 3 or Clover Studios is simply because nobody bought these games. Don't know why, the games are awesome, but i guess nobody looked at the reviews. Such a shame. They were actually thinking of making VJ3.

@Hulkling93 Huge fan of the Viewtiful man myself, I noticed Kamiya mention VJ3 on his Platinum Games blog as a question someone asked him during a gala event for Bayonetta. His response was that he'd be glad to make it, "but would anyone actually buy it?"

Okami and Viewtiful Joe are of course fantastic games and deserve respect for being absolute classics (VJ received a brawler featuring anime characters but otherwise...), however no one bought them when they came out, and Clover went bankrupt.
