32 inch can never be 1080P its a lie by the electronics stores. to be a 1080P you must have a minimum 40 inch 1920x1080 resolution.

Why is it whenever I watch movies with my 32" Sony Bravia (Similar to yours), I get to watch the movies in half screen? Is that normal?

I mean, it only plays the movies at half screen. I use Blu-ray discs and some movies I get from the internet.

@rkOz96 try this and see if it works, jjust beneath "bravia sync" on ur remote control ull find three buttons, the one on the right click it, it changes the mode from wide to full etc.. maybe thats it. hope ive helped :)

I recently bought a 32 inch 1080p bravia and to be fair I wasn't extremely impressed.I mean its a good tv but the colors seem to be a tad artificial and cool and its far oversharpened and bright (even after messing with the picture/brightness/back light settings in the menu I wasn't able to get it to show a spectacular picture although it got better).

I have just bought the poor cousin to this, the KDL32EX400, it's the same TV but without the networking feature and am very pleased. It works well with the RDR-HX780 DVD and HDD recorder which I pipe through my satellite feed. Also getting a BDPS370 Blu-ray player and UWABR100 WiFi dongle.

Thanks for making the video. I also have a Bravia 32" but not the Bravia 2 engine which is what I think you have. I purchased mine in 2009; it doesn't have any connections that I can use to get YouTube. I have my pc connected to it via a HDMI cable. It really pays to have a mid to high end graphics card in your pc if your purprose is to use your Bravia as a monitor. I've found it a good idea to keep the manual that came with it.

i don't really recommend getting a 1080p on a 32 inch. you won't really see a difference between 1080p and 720p on a tv that size. you will start seeing a difference however when you start reaching the 42-46 range. for a 32 inch i recommend saving some money and sticking with a 720p. just a tip for you tv shoppers out there :)

Picked up the 32 inch model at John Lewis for £300...great value.

Good clean sharp picture. Only complaints are the very slight time delay on all remote commands.

The actual remote control is very badly designed. Awkward to hold with sharp corners, ridiculously small channel and volume controls and two circular groups of other controls far too close to each other. This from a company like Sony...Terrible!

I have the above,and also have a Toshiba HDD Recorder Model: RDXS24SB. The Toshiba (not High Definition) has 2 Scarts and a composite video connection. I can record both SD and HD signals from the Bravia, but I can only watch the channel that is being recorded, eg; It is not possible to watch ITV1 while recording BBC4. Even if I set the Recorder to record the HD signal, then switch to Analog, the Recorder records what is being viewed on screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
