can anyone help me, i got mine done the beggining of july, it was really good at first, i clean it all the time(seasalt) n switched it out, now the skins thinning out( you see more bar then when i first did it) n i dont know what to do..any help?

i was just wondering i got my belly done about 7 days ago everything was fine but not the top is really read and its very sore i have been cleaning it very well but before i was moving it and i noticed that a little white stuff was coming out. is this an infection and should i go see my piercer and doctor for antibiodics or should i stay put if this is normal? thanks if anyone could give me some advice cos i really want to keep my piercing.

@courtneybabie101 heyy i have my belly button pierced and all of that stuff you mentioned is normal. I wouldnt put antibacterial ointment on it yet especially if your piercing is that fresh, it will hold the bacteria in there. So no worries, your piercing all good!

I was using regular table salt for my piercing but it got infected. I asked my piercer and she told me it was really not recommended because the ingredients are too harsh, use sea salt! It's not expensive and works wonders : )

go back to the original jewlery- it sounds like you are alergic to nickel or other metals in the new jewlery. A sever allergy can lead to infection.

Also- go back to the place you got it done, they will tell you what to do for free. They can better decide what is wrong by seeing it in person.

not untill its healed. it should be healed by october though as long as you look after it and it dosent get infected. though if your swimming bring a few extra bars or get a ring for your belly cos ive lost a few bars in the pool, they just come undone :S. so i wear a ring now and it has never come out by accident.

try getting maybe a titanium ring or something? idk if they make titanium bars or not. titanium is one of the better metals to get in your belly.

if its swollen or theres pus coming out of it its probally infected. just try to not touch it unless your cleaning it...

That is normal for every piercing.

It's just because the skin is still softer than the skin around it.

Give it about 2 weeks until it stops bleeding.

When you do change your ring, and it still bleeds, just make sure that the ring is clean and afterwards, put a mixture of salt and water on it to make sure it's completely clean.
