..didn't understand a word.....but it was great. GrandMa Hilda came to USA in 1905 from Östmark. Visisted there in 1971...still have 2nd cousins there that I email.
@wermland I have two stories about min farmor Hilda. One says she was from Sörmark. Other says she was from Bäckängen Goddalen and went to school in Sörmark. The cousins I email lived in Karlstad, but now they live in Mariestad. In 1971, I went with cousin Henry Persson (b 24 Nov 1939) in his car to his home….somewhere north of Karlstad. I think the wife is Birgitta, and kids are Johan and Pei. I think Dad’s last cousin, Maja, died a few years back in Torsby. Bruce Simonson
