hi dude!!! the dean razorback is a pretty nice guitar, if you bougth it new, i think it´s the rigth choice, better than the new JEMs 555, coz the old JEMs 555 had dimarzio evolution picks, i dont think the new ones come with the evolution pics now...I think the peavey valveking should have a better sound coz the valve sounds better than digital distortion.

yes and what if i buy the ibanez jem with the evolution ones and i have an ibanez tube king distortion pedal so my mg works like and hybrid amp and i can get a better tone with my epiphone sg customt than with my 3 times it price dean.

the sound is sterile and doesnt sound good thin and if i turn up bass it sounds worse.

so i dont know what.

if you get the ibanez jem with the evolution picks and combine it with the ibanez tube king distortion pedal, i think it should sound really great!!! I,m looking foward to buy this pedal (tube king) and use it with the marshal MG, the tone should be pretty nice with this combo. Try on that Bro, and...Keep Rocking!!! \m/

yes, i like the jem but my problem is that i bought that raazorback with christmas so i wont get a 1000 bugs guitar soon so i might change all the hardware to emgs and stuf and than buy the valveking.

and i was considering the epi lp standard and put some emgs in but i dont think that work i can better put them in my sg i think so because that is a little bit higher end than the lp standard,

i think i buy the emg 89 81 and 60 for my sg custom

or just the 81-60 and buy a '66 pickguard

you cant go wrong with the tubeking tk999ht it's great tell me what bands you like but the sound i want it has that nice thick distortion and not tiny boss mt-2 sound.

and it works like a tube preamp.

because the tk999ht has a 12ax7 tube in it and works great.

the best should be having the both...couse both are great...but if u have to choose only one ( like me) think about what style do u preffer: the Guibson Les Pauls is amazing for classic rock and the JEM is amazing for hard rock and heavy metal with bending bridge... It´s a hard choice coz both are great, now that i have a JEM a want to have a Les Paul too...

It's a JEM you idiot... It's not a JEM7 series but it's JEM 555 and the tree of live ends at the 12th fret in this model... Search in google. If you're not blind, you can see it...

f-spaced is for a guitar with a floating/floyd rose type bridge i believe.

might be beause you have a diiferent gauge string on the guitar then what the guitart itself is set up for. ex. .10 gauge strings on a .9 set up.

The price of this guitar here in Brazil is pretty hight too...(about 2000,00 dollars - second hand!!) and i buy it second hand ( had to save money for a long time), this is 1996 model, people say the old ones are better...anyway, you wont regret if you buy a JEM...once you have it, you love it!!!

i think it´s good for you, the bridge is a Floyd Rose LOW TRS TREM II verry good, but maybe the Jem 777 bridge should be even better... Anyway i use then tremolo a few times in my songs too and it keeps in tune most of times. The Ibanez JEM is a great guitar, if you buy it, you´ll love it! Rock ON!!!

the evolution picks are the best thing is this guitar... they are verry powerfull, and perfect for loud play, from a clean sound to the most distorted it´s loud and the sound is great, this JEM is a 555 1996, the original picks are Dimarzio Evolution, i dont know if the new ones come with the same set...If its the evolution picks you can buy it and ROCK ON LOUD!!!!
