@pastorsak yea, the latest ones at Alpacka are like super hike-able creek boats. Some folks are pushing Class IV+ and V- at kayak water-levels in these new boats that have a kayak-style spray skirt.
@romandial Was just looking at their website, do you use the Yukon Yak model? Have you ever punctured one? How do the work in open flat water such as a calm lake?
@sunshot78 The red boat in this video is a Yak. Yes I have punctured boats a few times in 20 years, but the Alpackas are easy to repair with duct tape -- just dry the tubes and patch small holes with duct tape. The newest boats with long sterns work much better on flat water than these old boats.

i just recently heard about packrafting and im a kayaker....would they be considered something like a solo creekboating raft?
