hmm, the air and g are good but in different ways. i'd say for flip tricks and shoves, definitely the air. the g is good for grinding, jumping down stuff. it also feels cleaner to land tricks on the g for some reason.
the g definitely outlasts the air. ripstik airs get bendy after i've ridden for a month on them.
