dude...dude crazy shit...dude go close the sliding door...cause that will matter when the tornado hits...dude look how fast its turning dude...dude....doooooood
And hey- Be honest with me, How do you like it out there? I'm looking at houses out there in Scottsdale, Mesa, Phoenix, Tucson area. I want to get one in a Natural Disaster Free zone bro! At least: no floods, no tornadoes, no hurricanes, no earth quakes.
And do you guys have a drug problem out there? Meth problem?
please be honest with me bro! This is my Life! Please take a moment to write me back thank you!
@shaneslifestory I've lived in AZ all my life and I love it but I would advise you to move any time other than June-August. Overall, it's a nice city. The metro is large (4+ million) but you won't feel cramped up because the it's vastly spread out. The weather any other time than summer is beautiful. During the summer, you just learn to adapt. It *does* flash flood though. If that's a concern, don't move into the outskirts, where the washes are. Desert floods are dangerous and do kill people.
@shaneslifestory Don't get too alarmed though, you'll be fine so long as you don't try to swim down a wash or drive through one. It's important too for newcomers to understand the summer heat can be deadly too, so you have to learn to respect it - don't leave a dog in a car, simple stuff like that. The great thing about Phoenix though is that you can get away from the heat fast - Northern AZ is mountainous and snowy. Flagstaff is a couple of hours away. AZ is a *beautiful* state. good luck
@eukaryote90 I grew up in Mesa. When I got married I moved to Oregon. A year or so later my entire family followed me up here so now I have no real reason to go back. I miss the heat, Summer was always my favorite time of year. And it was really weird moving to Oregon and finding indoor swimming pools were normal and out door ones were hard to find. One of these days I've love to go back and visit for a few weeks. I miss the smell of the desert. I don't like rain and cold and that sums up Oregon
@TheCoolaudrey THERE IS NO JOKING WITH THESE THINGS YOU CAN LOSE YOUR LIFE IN ONE OF THESE THINGS FOR EXAMPLE: ONE MINUTE YOU CAN BE HAVING THE BEST TIME OF LIFE THEN YOU HAVE NO LIFE......... DONT THINK THESE THINGS ARE EASY COME EASY GO.......... THEY ARE EASY COME NOT EASY GO THEY'LL KILL YOU...... AND THAT IS NOT A JOKE DONT THINK THESE THINGS COULDN'T OCCUR HERE..... I HAVE READ A LOT BOUT THESE THINGS AND THERE WILL BE MORE..... PREPARE
Dude, my friends and I got caught up in that storm on 51st ave and Bethany after work... We had golf ball sized hail and the winds were confirmed at 70mph.. it totaled my friends 2007 Ford Mustang and the roof of at my work collapsed.. That was some crazy sh!t right there! Just an awesome storm...
There was a couple super cells that may have spawned funnel clouds in The metro Phoenix area, I have no idea why they didn't issue a tornado warning/watch for phoenix, or if they did I had not heard or seen one. and AtarahDerek, we do not have set Tornado Sirens, I believe some areas in Arizona still use the old WWII bombing sirens.
That wasn't the tornado. We had 4 confirmed tornados though located in Bellmont, AZ. Which is Northern AZ near Flagstaff. These storms though were absolutely NUTS. Was Scary as hell for a bit.
The kid asks "why's it moving like that?" It's because IT'S A FUCKING TORNADO! Wow, what an easy call. A totally classic wall cloud with a dry line and rotation. Time to hit the deck, idiots!
Too bad your house blocks the view of the funnel. Do you have sirens of any kind? In Montana, our old WW2 air raid sirens double as tornado sirens. The downside is they have to be turned on by the city. They're not connected to the Weather Service.
@AtarahDerek No, Arizona does not have any tornado sirens. I guess because most houses don't have basements, so there's no point anyway. If a tornado's coming your way in AZ you're screwed.
@eukaryote90 no tornadoes have ever touched down in phoenix. the only tornados that have touched down in az touch down in northern arizona near flagstaff. just because a cloud is turning doesnt mean its a tornado it just means its capable of producing a tornado
@14alfalfa you are 99.9% right.... but when you said that one has never touched down in phoenix your right but wrong..... right after that you said only in flagstaff...... well one touched down by me....... and i was scared..... but thats not the point... the point is that a tornado has touched other then northern arizona
