I wouldn't consider Fergie a good singer. She was missing several notes during the most intensive parts of Sweet Child (as seen in other videos with the complete song). I even think some American Idol contestants could do a better job.

When he did the Michael Jackson songs I never complained, because they were awesome, but ruining a good classic is another thing different from versatility.

well, SCOM is a classic, but you can hardly blame her for missing any notes. I've heard so many bootlegs from back in the days with Axl singing, and most of his vocal performances are crap. Put it this way, the best performances he ever did is in the Live Era CD. In that one, his voice is great, but other than that, Axl has always been the weak point, live from my point of view.
