Did you secure the messy bun by bobby-pinning the ends into the area where the ponytail is fastened? I think my hair is much more copious and heavy, and I'd be afraid it would loosen from the pins' grip after an hour or so (or after 10 minutes on the bike:) and I'd be left with a hanging tease do :O -- What do you recommend for securing? @Lokilani38 for that long hair I recommend the bun from my video dated Mar 19, 2011 where I actually use the volume of long hair rather than create an illusion of volume like in the current video :)

I did it a little different, and easier, but w/ similar and still great results: I got out of shower(have just washed hair)combed hair and put in de-frizz serum and body mousse, scrunching my hair a little. I then separated my hair into 3 sections(I have thin hair) and twisted them into little buns and secured them with big hairpins. I waited 6 hours(if not dry blow dry a little) and took the buns out and and then followed instructions
