I've got a old Aspire 5003 that Im gonna do something to as well. That thing is a piece of crap! I had it for about a year and the screen started getting lines down it, overheating, and battery lasted about 5 minutes after only a year. I sent it back, they replaced the screen under extended warranty and about 6 months later it did the same thing. still runs super hot and now the battery is even worse! Im thinkin about shooting it full of holes :) Love my new Toshiba! Never buying acer again!

That laptop is a pile of shit, even when it was new they broke very easily, most Acer's are junk, the newer dell are plastic junk to, I set a dell on fire a couple year ago and took a large pickaxe to it, due to it was junk and had known problems dell refuse to do a recall on that model.

The Peavey power amps you use are terrible, and some of the PA speakers you had that you seemed to talk highly of are pretty terrible too...
