zone 12 is off the coast of cape breton in the gulf of st lawrence ... this year our snow crab went for 2.60 a lb 2010 .. that was in area 19 in shore a bit from area 12 .. we landed 37400 lbs in 6 days quickest crab season ever most crab i have ever seen in 20 years of fishing traps were pluged full we got 17 pans out of 1 trap most i ever saw (about 850lbs in 1 trap) anyway peace and love from your out of work fisherman dragoneye
