  • I meant to ask---what size jars did you use? Will baby food jars work?

  • @loridee21

Baby food jars will work great! Actually much better than what I used. I had old makeup jars lying around and used those, but I really needed something better to make them in. Have fun and TFW! Heather

  • Great video! LOL---I keep Spenda in my purse (little packets) and I'm not THAT OLD!!

  • great video Heather!

  • I have been trying to find the Windsor & Newton water color iridescent medium, and the only place may be Dick Blick or even your professional art store. I hope I can find it here in Canada somewhere!

Great tutorial! I love the money saving aspect! TYFS!

  • TfS!! Gives me an idea gonna try glazing medium and acrylic paint with the iridescent medium might work :^)

  • Thanks so much for the tutorial, I'll need to pick up some of the iridescent medium and try making some :-)

  • I love it!!! I will try to find the Iridescent Medium in Romania. This tutorial is perfect. thank you so much for sharing !

  • Love the way the dragonfly backgrounds came out, I liked the 2nd and 3rd gen. stamping with it and how worn/distressed it looked. Works for me! :D

  • Need to look for some next time I shop. TFS.

  • Heather, you crack me up with the Perfect Pearls. lol. Will have to try this one. Just need more reinkers. TFS, Vee

  • looks good! I love my iridescent medium! DO not have too many reinkers though, but this is a great idea! thanks for sharing!

  • I think this is better than the original (alot cheaper also) TFS

  • I have that iridescent medium which I got for watercolor paint. I love the look with the reinkers. I would love to see how it works on craft paint. Thanks for sharing.

  • That came out lovely. I like the idea of painting it with a brush instead of spraying it. Your dark brown crumpled piece is fab..! x

  • That was sooo cool! I was going to buy some Glimmer Glaze to try but I'm going to try this first. Just want to know, after the paper is dry, does the Iridescent Medium come off on your fingers if you rub the page? (I'm not crazy about loose glitter.) Thanks!

  • @rnickel01

No, you really have to rub it for anything to come off on your finger. But you could probably also add a few drops of white glue to this paint to act as a binder. Good luck...let me know how you like it once you try it. TFW!

  • Heather, did you try more drops of the reinker? If so did it get darker or stay the same? Love the video.

  • Love this! Thank you for the technique!

    Paveena :)

  • oh my I have sweet n low in my purse. I love this. no Michaels around me.

  • @mommunson

Thanks! You might be able to find it at AC Moore or Joann's if you have those around you. If not, I'm sure you can find it online. Hope that helps. It really is worth the money. You can use it for all kinds of things. TFW....and I promise I won't tell anyone you've got S&L in your purse..,..lol!

  • This is great. Tfs Debbie

  • ok so where can I find that glimmer medium at??

  • @duffer9904

You can find it in the art aisle at Michael's, where all the watercolor and acrylic paints are. Hope this helps.

  • cool technique.

    tfs

  • I bought me some of that to do that same thing. I just haven't done anything with it yet. :) Thanks for sharing your experiments.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Lynn

  • Heather, I think that is the most glimmer I have ever seen! Great tips thanks for sharing.

  • @ShabbyPinkStamper
