the idea the the poster said this should be catorgorized as comedy is the real joke. sure it may not be real but it is a fiction movie on the SyFy channel, if anything just admit it's cool to see, maybe not as good as mitochondrial mutation in gators or snakes like in games but it still makes for a decent movie
