@Russian3600 try finding a desktop computer that has a dual core processor or a quad core processor with atleast 2.6ghz,2gb ram,and a good video card,and u can play it on medium settings. im getting a athlon II x4 630 2.8ghz,2gb ram, for 299, plus the vid card which is gonna cost me from 80 bucks to 150 since im not sure what card exactly i should get. search in a local computer store, not bestbuy. they will rip u off. in total u should spend up to 500 bucks.

got the game now but how do u get all those planes on the carrier. wen i go to the editor to do it the planes just land under water

You need to pu code into the initialisation field of the plane in the editor.

The code is: this setpos [getpos this select 0, getpos this select 1,X]

X is the height you want to set the vehicle, i thin about 10-15 should be ok for the carrier.

Make sure the editor isn't in easy mode too.

@icemancotour All of the aircraft in this video come with the game. There are a lot of vehicles in Arma2, probably around 70 though.

You need to use the editor to place units, then you need to use a command in the units init filed to make it sit on the deck properly.

Hi Scotia, thanks for your reply. I understand now after reading the post which I should have read before :-) It's a nice video nonetheless. Maybe you could film a new one with some carrier pov watching the harrier do the following kind of stuff

- High speed fly-by

-Low speed fly-by

- Hover and landing

- Just skimming the sea at high speed

-Some breaks/turns over the carrier low level.

Music was better than guns and roses any way, but why not just game sounds?

I was listening to music at the time and fraps recorded it too so the sound ended up really distorted and horrible. Didn't intentionally make the video for youtube so it's a bit rough.

Not sure, if you have a joystick with a thrust column then yes it will stay on. Don't think there is an optional in the control setup just to toggle.

Seems to be a bug when they are on the carriers. They land like that too. They are fine on the mainland though.
