  • sempre humilde

por isso hoje é o melhor do mundo

    meus parabens

  • @megarafael1 ex melhor do mundo atualmente melhor do mundo jon jones

  • massa !

  • anyone know da music at da end? i guess silvas walk in song...anyone got da track name?

  • don't evan say asians can't fight they fucking made martial arts dumb shit bruce lee for example

  • asians can't fight without their samuri swords

  • This is Mach Sakurai' s first loss in his career.

  • DAMN LOOK HOW SKINNY SILVA IS

  • @RVPG123 Don't be deceived by his look. There is huge difference between skinny body and tight body.

  • sorry asians but you cant even hold a title in the #1 mma company theres been blacks whites browns..no yellows though stick to your fake ass karate and all your kung fu bull shit but in real fighting that doesnt fly

  • @app369 Lyoto machida

  • @Lar1059 he's brown he's brazilian not asian

  • @Lar1059 no silly he is Brazillian but he does look asian. he also trains in Brazil with other Brazillians so no not asian

  • @app369 He is 1/2 Japanese, 1/2 Brazilian.

  • @app369 His parents are from japan... That is the whole reason he took up karate

  • @Lar1059 he was born and raised in Brazil friend. Also his karate is his own karate not any others its called Machida Karate which was made in Brazil by him and he practiced it with other Brazillians, also not to mention Machida is a very boring fighter thats not even that good

  • @app369 His father actually invited that. He is one of the best fighters in the world

  • @Lar1059 no he isnt??? he runs half the time hes trash

  • @app369 ok

  • @app369

Wrong. You can't use certain Kung Fu techniques in MMA. Eye gouging. Tiger style with straight fingers to the throat (kill shot), Groin area is out of bounds in MMA, but not Kung Fu, Kill shot to the temple, etc... Have you seen Game of Death 2? The guy playing bruce lee's son in the movie (forget the name) was a bad-ass with Kung Fu kicks. He was training amer soldiers in combat, one of them popped off and attacked him, and he killed the soldier with a kick to the side of the head.

  • @app369

Go here to see the full movie (Game of Death II), and watch how dangerous the guy is with kicks. Look up other videos of people talking about him. They said he could probably have taken Bruce Lee in a fight.

  • @app369

Sorry. He plays Bruce Lee's younger brother in the movie. Game of Death II. True story that he killed a Marine with his feet. Kung Fu is nothing to be played with. Now under MMA RULES, you have a point, but in a real fight on the street to the death, Kung Fu is dangerous.

  • @app369

You can watch the full movie, but if you want to get a feel for this guy's skills, skip to 1 hour 14 minutes of the movie. :-) Sorry about all the messages.

  • @app369

Ah, his name is Billy Lo. Look up that name on Youtube. Deadly with his legs....

  • @Nonpeon Ya? So was Mirko Cro Cop "left kick hospital right kick cemetary" i think we ALL know how he ended up. If you didnt know he fought out of Asia (specifically Japan) and dominated off shores but again we all know what happened

  • i have to agree with the sophisticatedplayboy japanese are geneticly weak compared to a westerner, there alot smaller

  • 5:10 Freddy Krueger talking lol

  • Are they not allowed to punch hard? Or are they just hella tired?

  • @Kazuyasan9999 it's the final round man, even when I just spar with people in the gym, when we get to that last round, your hands can feel like 25 pound weights lol

  • kkkkkk the japas stilled on silence kkkkkk

  • Anderson became the #1 ranked WW after this I believe. and this was 10 years ago. Amazing how long he's been in the game and still the best.

  • wow thats the first time the japanese crowd didn't cheer for the foreiner

  • af parecem emos

  • Anderson Silva, from Brazil, My Country, Is The Best your motherfucks, kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • The Best ....Brazil !!!

  • do bloody anderson realise he is insulting muay thai by wearing the headgear??

  • Japanese fighters prior to MMA are focused on grappling. They could grapple for hours with no breaks and they became very good at it. Sadly MMA rules requiring stand up resulted to lack of initiative to perfect ground fighting or submission techniques. I remember watching channel Z back in the 90's when there were lots and different forms of submission attempts and successful unique maneuvers.

  • Rule not permit elbow to head while on the ground right?

  • @sakda357 why not?

  • I really don't think people appreciate this victory enough. Here silva is when he was 170 with a record of 4-1 going into the fight, and he beats the #1-2 middleweight (different system back then) in the world who was 18-0-2 at the time.

  • Anderson silva has no fear to get up when Hayato is stand up and he not, but when Anderson is stand up and Hayato not, Hayato don't have courage to get up.

  • I think is not about being Japanese, Brazilian or American is about training, conditioning, technique, mind and physical preparation. All the techniques we see in MMA are condensed in the traditional martial arts from the east especially Japan, so they created or developed many techniques that are being practiced and applied by many worldwide. Though many fighters go over there and beat the masters it doesn't mean they are weak. It means anybody can win or lose a fight.

  • the only reason I hate ufc it's because of the submissions it's ruining the show it's like you are watching the kama-sutra...It's not fight...

  • @pizza4season you are so stupid it hurts.

  • Late R&B singer Aaliyah's song "Are you Feeling" me off of the Romeo Must Die soundtrack was played at the conclusion of this Tournament in Osaka,Japan where Silva won.Everyone thought the song was played as a victory track in order to honor her but when later asked about it the Japanese organizers and Silva's manager said it was just coincidence and had no idea she had died a day earlier on Aug.25 2001 in a plane crash in the Bahamas. This event took place Aug 26.Weird.

  • @CODEColt45 WOW. That's crazy!!! I'm a fan of Aaliyah's music and MMA. That was very interesting. Thanks for sharing that.

  • @lookylook1 np brother.I think her starring in the Romeo Must Die film wih Jet Li and that new style of R&B that she imposed in her last 2 albums really helped introduce the hip hop flavor to martial arts in the entertainment industry(both fighting and movies).I've heard that track in some other fighter's intro too.She was actually on her way back from shooting the Rock the Boat video to finish filming her role in the Matrix when she died.

  • Silva is detroyer

  • Siki-saaaaaaan Korewaaaaaaaaa? I love it.

  • lol they keep calling him aandeson shivaa

  • @sumoshinobi The Japanese have problems hearing the sound the Latin letters "L" and "R" make.

  • @lamrof i know that i just find it funny how they pronounce anderson silva

  • and the crowd is silent an era ends. another is on the horizen.

5 years later it would arive with rath.

    Anderson silva forever.

  • The whole cutting weight thing is cheating I dont see the diff between a guy thats 155 challenging a guy thats 170+ than fighting someone who was 155 yesterday but 170 today. Weigh-in's should be the day of the fight so we don't have to see some bigger guy cutting weight because he doesnt have the skill to fight at his weight class so he cheats by coming in 20 pounds heavier. If thats the case...why is there even weight divisions if people just exploit it by cutting weight

  • Sakurai's got my respect after seeing this fight. Silva had it already.

  • This fight showed me alot about anderson silva cause this 3rd round was clutch for both fighters and was taken down as soon as the round began but he showed his composure improved his position and won the round with only 2:30 seconds of him being in a dominate position

  • Anyone else want to see Silva vs GSP? I know I do. GSP needs to go up a class. Time to shit or get off the pot.

  • @TheCoxblox i rather see shogun vs silva

  • @TheCoxblox

Silva would assrape GSP. I want to see the new and improved Okami vs Silva.

  • Sakurai won the first round. Anderson won the 2nd round possibly with a 10-8. And the last round Anderson won by outstriking Sakurai from his closed guard and outboxing him on the feet. Clear cut victory.

  • Silva usually dominates fights, but not in this fight.. I'm no expert but it looked even.

  • @neuspeed79 Are you blind, but wait even a blind person can see Anderson won.

  • @lamrof which part of "evenly matched" don't you understand?

  • @neuspeed79 not saying I'm an expert, but it didn't look that even to me though Hayato Sakurai was doing his thing, it wasn't quite enough. Silva does usually dominate his opponents, but let's remember, this fight was nearly 10 years ago, he has come a way since than, and it shows.

  • @neuspeed79

Remember, at this point Sakurai was 18-0 and Silva was only 5-1. Sakurai had a huge experience advantage over Silva

  • You haters are u alright in the head? Dont post ur whining comments, kind a like a girl. "crowd suddenly goes all silent"? You're a bitch, wtf is your point? @sophisticatedplayboy have u ever seen fighters like

Gomi? Obviously u dont know much about mma, & ur stupid name just proves what kind of a nerd you are.

  • tsss yeah the crows suddenly goes all silent when silva is declared victor

  • lol I love how the cowd goes silent when the decision is anounced. It was like sakurai lost..... lost........ i have no life now lol great fight by 2 legends

  • why isevedrything people say on this shit about race,a good fighter is a good fighter ive seen blakcs win ive seen them lose the same with every race or nationality, japan has a great history of fighter martial arts, other raqces and cultures are just as good look at the fighter not the colour

  • @sophisticatedplayboy That's a pretty stupid thing to say considering UFC's poster boy Anderson Silva who is undefeated in the octagon has 3 losses to Japanese Fighters. Japan has some of the best fighters and it's no surprise considering their historical background, not to mention that a vast majority of martial arts originate from there.

  • yeah but silva wont lose no more he at hisbest

manny pacman wont lose nomore he at his best

    theywill retire as champions

just japan has lots of fighters

but all these dream tournaments i see westerner winning them lol

name a jap fighter now that can beat silva

even kid norifumi got banged over by zambidi an got beat recently by some white guy

  • @sophisticatedplayboy That's a stupid question...how about naming a Iranian fighter that can beat silva, while your at it find a Libya mma fighter that can beat him lol

  • @Tri756

i am on about how weak japanese fighters always lose an only win by sumbmission

i not talk about iranian you cunt

  • @sophisticatedplayboy Race has nothing to do with how a person fight... Believe it or not but I'm sure Training, Experience and skills has more to do with it... Judging a the way a person fight by their race is pure Ignorant.

  • @sophisticatedplayboy yeah of course manny pacquio wont lose any more, cuz hes too much of a bitch to fight mayweather, he would get his shit KOed and he knows it

  • @afuckincookiemonster

    haha

    manny agreed to his terms

an mayweather still dont want to fight

    hahaha!

    mayweather scareddddddd

  • @sinhaserpente one bein dq, but he's improved alot since then, u think they'll hav a chance now

  • @katius4 Silva is full of himself and people are scared of him for no reason which is why they lose. Look at what Sonnen did to him. He talked a lot of crap, he wasn't scared and he went out there and dominated him. He even out struck Silva. Silva's striking is that great, it's good, but not great. He simply has a long reach because he chooses to fight people shorter than him, and he has good timing. He doesn't fight anyone worth fighting these days. GSP would walk though him.

  • @sinhaserpente silva strikin isnt great? silva barely landed punches n elbows n the ones he did land cut sonnen open bleeeeding

  • @peraltaman Yes, barely landed anything, and Sonnen, a wrestler managed to rock and knock Silver down on multiple occasions. I'm not saying Silver is a crap striker, just that he is overrated as a striker. He does have power, along with timing and reach, but he is getting gun shy these days. People lose to him because they are scared to strike with him, those that come in without fear end up out striking him.

  • @sinhaserpente what about Forest?? He looked like Silvas bravest opponent. And when Sonnen caught him, he was underestimating Sonnen and sort of teasing him poking his head out, and when he was knocked down I think that was more a loss of balance than anything. His movement was just slightly off in that fight.

  • now that I think about it, he did have a broken rib coming into the fight and that could explain his off movement and Chael did test positive for steroids which may or may not have added an extra edge of punching power

  • @sinhaserpente

LOL you proved my point anderson silva lost by 2 submission by japanese guys

okami won because silva got disqualify for kicking him in face

NO jap can beat silva unless submission japs are weak man

japanese always get beaten up man

i seen it in dream no japs in final always westerner

  • @sophisticatedplayboy Lol, I think you proved my point that you are an idiot. "Silva is the best, no one can beat him, not even the Japanese, except only Japanese people can submit him, but Japanese suck" Wtf are you on? A submission is a win you idiot, do you know how many people Silva has submitted? There are good Jap MMA fighters: Shinya Aoki, Yamamoto kid, Sudo Genki, Sakuraba, Okami, gomi. You do realise Machida is half Japanese? He was LHW UFC Champ. Stop being a racist and youtube warrior

  • @sophisticatedplayboy Submission win is still a win. :P I'd have to say just by watching some documentaries, western MMA has a technological edge over the Japanese. Strength and Weight conditioning, dieticians etc. etc. and the list goes on and the Japanese, as an example in Gomi, and many others I honestly feel by UFC standards are fighting at the wrong weights. Gomi with current MMA technology could be a powerhouse at 145 but at 155, he's going up against guys who can bulk up to 170ish.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRealDarklock 2 of the 3 fighters Gomi fought are now at 145 and he last lost to Guida, a legit lightweight who should/will not "bulk up to 170ish"

  • @TheRealDarklock ya joe rogan always talks about how they fight at their natural weight theyre sweet as fuck

  • @sophisticatedplayboy are you a boy or girl?

  • @TeO67ONE wtf! whats that got to with anything you fool!? what kind of dumb question is that!?

  • @sophisticatedplayboy Idiot look up a man name Yushin Okami 8 and 2 in the UFC! Know ur mma loser

  • @sophisticatedplayboy I just saw two Japanese own Silva in 2003. So, u dont have to worry about Japan power.

  • @IOS123 Yup the only 2 people that beat silva were japanese and they were much shorter than him. Just wish I can see those 2 in the ufc.

  • @noobtube1210

u have already seen both of them in the UFC....Ryo Chonan didnt do shit in the UFC recently, and Sakurai fought Matt Hughes for the title years ago and got dominated(he was quite undersized in that fight)......Anderson has also lost to another Japanese fighter in Takase by triangle...do some mma research...

  • @IOS123 ur right, but compare those two japenese men success now compared to anderson's now, not even close right. get ur head out the past becauz its somethin called the present tht is takin place

  • @katius4 But you have not see them fight Silva now? So what's up with that? How can you be sure now then?

  • @IOS123 2003....!!! lol. Start worrying its been 8 years!

  • @IOS123 probably cause silva can predict typical mma dudes, and the japs are just a totally different bunch of fighters, DOPEness

  • @sophisticatedplayboy why do you think japanese fighters never can and never will be successful in UFC. They better in their own little leagues. I'd love to be proven wrong.

  • @sophisticatedplayboy the ones in japan that really can fight, dont do mma fights.

  • @sophisticatedplayboy Yeah dude that's why Anderson lost to Ryo Chonan and Daiju Takase by humiliation =) Anyway the japanese have another fighting mentality, they get in to finish the guys. Just watch some japanese shows such as deep and shooto or sengoku, you would never find that much action in a whole ufc card! Just tryrespect others and they'll respect you...

  • i honestly dont buy that silva walks around at 220 garbage hes 6'2 and is a skinny build FFS...he walks around at 205-210 at the most...rich franklin is 6'1 and walks around at 220 and did u see how much fucking bigger he was than silva?? hes about 2 times thicker so theres a perfect example of how hes not walking around at 220.

  • @monoforraptunes

    watch?v=Adm6UkbFQJo

That's him doing some Capoeira and he looks pretty close to 220 there. He walks around at way more that 205 as he still cuts a lot of weight to fight in the LHW division. He cuts down to middle weight because he loves fighting midgets and getting a longer reach.

  • @sinhaserpente lol this isnt middle wieght its welter. and he never walks around at 220 more like 205. he put on wieght for the forrest griffin fight

  • amazing that Silva now fights at MW and LHW and Mach has gone on to LW! (though usually at WW).

  • This guy Silva was fighting walks around at 170. Anderson Silva walks around at 220.

The only reason Anderson Silva won this match was because of his strength advantage from walking around at literally FIFTY POUNDS heavier than his opponent.

  • Yup, that's the ONLY reason he won. Great insight. Can you be my trainer?

  • anderson was probably no where near 220 at this point in time, only recently would he be that much.

  • And don't forget that crazy reach. Mach looks like a Midget walking around next to him. Though Takasse and Azeredo looked a lot smaller than Silva and owned him so I guess size doesn't always matter I guess.

  • japanese that emigrated/immigrated to brazil started brazillian jiu jitsu because the more stylized form of jiu jitsu that they where using wasn't effective enough for street fighting.

  • anderson silva is my idol !!he is the best!!

  • Poor Sakurai broke his nose badly half-way into this fight, which is why he slowed right down for the loss.

  • You talk as if it was some kind of accident. Even back then, if AS wanted to hurt you, he would.

  • wow he took Silva the distance. Def gotta respect that.

  • back in the day silva has a HUGE underdog in this fight.

  • Yeap, an even today Mach is a force to be reckoned with for sure. Highly underrated imo.

  • whether u state ur opinion or not, i dont care

  • Wether Silva was knocking out all his opponents in 1 round, SOME OF YOU HATERS would still criticize him anyway. But do the world a favour-KEEP YOUR RACIST SELVES to your kind of people.

  • So any criticism of Silva is "rahciss"?

  • when is Silvia going to fight somebody his size for once

  • anderson theme song is aliyah !! anderson is crAZY LOL.

  • yet another example of andersons shitty takedown defense, hes incredibly overated.

  • You know how many years ago that fight happened? Definitely, he is more technical now. His last 10 consecutive wins prove it.

  • I tend to agree with ya. His losses reflect that he is still very beatable and is overrated compared to someone like Fedor who gets dogged on all the time even though he is truly undefeated. Ah well, I may not be a huge fan of Andersons an think he is overrated, but dude is still talented, just not the best p4p.

  • japaneses had no technicaly

  • suck the anouncer ..i dont they talking about ..

  • i can't understand what you are saying

  • GSP would get his ass beat by Silva!!!!lol funny.

  • that jap fight like a real man.the only thing that make westernrers winner over orientals is the size and physical avantage.technicaly they are weak.

  • tell this to Lyoto, GSP, Hendo, Couture, Nog, Anderson, and pretty much anyone that fights out of Brazil, US, or Canada.

  • thats why they have weight classes you dick

  • Anderson Silva is technically weak? I don't think so.

  • nice

  • he da man

  • This was a great fight. This guy Sakurai showed a lot of grit(a lot more than most of the fighters from UFC that went against Silva) and of all the fights I've seen, he's the only one that took down Silva more than a couple times which is really impressive considering how much smaller he is than Silva.

That being said, Silva is clearly a genius. Even when he got taken down, it's as if he was never at a disadvantage. And boy can he take a HIT. When he gets hit, you never see him rattled.

  • Comment removed

  • These fights were absolutly bullshit a guy this big fihting at this weight is just lame...

  • The most amazing thing about this fight is that it occurs at 168 pounds. Anderson is amazing.

  • No wonder why Silva Resembles a Skeleton lol. I bet GSP would crush him at this weight.

  • Bare in mind,.. no martial art is complete (My opinion)... but I am yet to see any art that is fully complete in terms of PUNCHING(hand techniques) thats where Bruce got his Hand speed and techniques from WING-CHUN .... Fair Enough One may have doubts about him (u r free to)... but Even one believes there is a supreme being above all humans without one seeing this being... so the fact that you never saw his fights dont mean he aint Good...

  • To OMGHAHAXD ::: its a shame for someone to say that Bruce had no techniques just by saying there were no evidence of his fights... by the way... Bruce was actually Taught by WONG-SHEUNG - Long.. the UNDEFEATED "BEIMO FIGHTER".. yes BEIMO means Bare Knuckle Street fight in CHINA.. under the Tutilage of YIP-MAN.... and He was also made to participate in this fights.... The very last time Bruce almost lost the fight cos he got sucker punched in the eye.. the other guy got FURIOUSLY K.O'ed by BRUCE

  • I'm just sorry that he wasn't an active fighter which he was, but I mean like in tournaments like this but he was the man and and a real motivation for any good fighter in the world

  • the japanese really hate to loose...hear how quiet it was ...you would think that there was nobody there.

  • so true lmao

  • what is your point. last time i checked no one likes to "loose". if you heard them booing or something, then i'd understand the criticism but you are beyond nitpicking in this case.

  • It's true. Silva has come a long way since fighting in Nihon (Japan). He's more finessed. More focused. He even sticks with the art of fighting than the brawl. That's where he's best. He even trains more. He's blossomed into a true athlete

  • Anderson sure has evolved alot from this fight, his style is so different now.

  • I believe Bruce Lee passed away 62 years ago and his name and influence are still as strong as ever.

Someone who says negative things about such a great man can only be issues with thier own life.

  • 62 years? I'm not sure that's right...

  • actually you just took the actual number (36) and doubled it. :)

  • 36 doubled is 72....

  • no thats 72 my friend

  • uh bruce died in 73...thats 36 years

  • Its so sad to hear these fat retards that sit in front of you tube eat ice cream and degrade Bruce lee. I just had to say that what kind of man degrades Bruce Lee think about that.

  • When he won i didnt hear any cheering...i wonder why?...hmmm

  • Looks like he's in china or japan or something. It's obvious who they wanted to win.

  • its probably in japan there speaking japanese thats why

  • This was a big upset

  • I like anderson silva his performance on sat not so much i feel he could have dominated him like the rest

  • I would love to see the two silva's fight that would be great.

  • Dana didn't call Lee the father of MMA for no reason.

  • TheRealDarklock: You should educate yourself about martial arts before commenting on pioneers like Bruce Lee. But I guess you can do better than he.

  • I wouldn't consider myself an "expert" in Martial arts but I have been around it my entire life. Since I was a young boy (age 7) I've been involved in Judo, Hapkido, Sun Hang Do and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu with a primary focus over the years in Judo. Have read/watched way too many kung fu movies, magazines such as Black Belt etc. Western Martial arts thru pioneer's like Bruce Lee has evolved leaps and bounds and is on par with comparing 1920's Boxing with today's boxing, it's illogical.

  • 1:55 looks really gay ;-)

  • Hayato Sakurai give Anderson a bad time in this fight in the UFC Sakurai was destroyed by Matt Hughes, Hughes was beaten by Georges St Pierre, how you calculate a posible fight batween Anderson & St Pierre, taking now this guys are a lot better now.

  • Wanderlei Silva beat Rampage twice, Rampage beat Lidell, so... Wanderlei Silva Beat Lidell too, right?

  • Wanderlei was beaten badly by Lidell, but now Lidell is down, and Wanderlei came back.

  • Sorry folks, had to go thru and delete some of the crap comments on these video's. Anderson Silva vs. Bruce Lee? /facepalm One is a skilled martial artist actor... one is a professional fighter. They both are highly powerful in their own aspects but comparing them is like comparing pitbulls vs. chickens.

As for the other one's I deleted, stupid non-sense. :)

  • true and false bro...

bruce lee did compete and tournements. however, there was no money in fighting then, just movies. i wont call him a chicken, but i agree silva would win. bruce lee was about 135lbs. miguel torres... i think would lose : )

  • But that doesn't mean he couldn't fight. His side kick dominated punching backs from 160 to over 300 pounds, and his one inch punch left a guy's chest in pain for days..to the point where he had to miss work.

  • well that''s what magazines , and rest of the media used to say and keep saying, other wise they wouldn't be able to sell BRUCE LEE, which was like a culture on the fight theme on those days, now we now the real thing and we can really say nicely not y first hand but throughout the other fighters who people like fedor, anderson bjj, gsp and more are.I gotta admit myself was involved with the Bruce lee thing still admiring him as a great actor that put the martial arts on different view acting

  • true..

  • You can be an educated person but know nothing about MMA roots. Learn what you will talk about before doing it.
