  • In the early 1970's, Carl Reiner tried to adapt this series into an American sit-com called "Lotsa Luck!" which starred Dom DeLuise and Kathleen Freeman. It only lasted a year.

  • Tony Russell was my dad, he wrote The Herbs as well. Nice to know he is still remembered, he died back in 1970. Be interested to hear if you are a long lost relative!
