  • Compare this classic bit to what passes for comedy today...

  • Could be the BEST Carson clip ever. What makes it great is the spontaneity of the whole conversation.

  • I LOVE this one! There is no one better than Carson.

  • may i point out that every turkiey the insurgents went with ,the native people....went withought if i lived in that day and age my 'vote 'would be with the native people'.

  • @livedify Looks like nobody much cared about your comment...huh?

  • i am so glad they didn't have Ed in these clips. I didn't like him and I don't like Paul Shafer on the Letterman show. Where do they get these guys?

  • One of my all time favorites of Johnny. Thank god they had tissues nearby!!

  • one of the greatest clips of all time

  • whoa - doc, you must be more cautious. People forget how much POWER Johnny Carson had in show business back in his day. One wrong word from Johnny and your career was over. Ask Joan Rivers. but I loved his show- he always looked sharp and had a nice delivery style. Nonthreatening and let us fall asleep without nightmarish images on our minds.

  • @MsJollycholly Doc and John were good friends...that's why they laughed so hard together....otherwise doc would be like Emo Phillips...remember that one?

  • "I wanted an oyster stuffing in the turkey and she wanted bread stuffing...and she got bread stuffing and a LOT of money."

  • i laughed so hard I cried.

  • This is the best clip on youtube.

  • brilliant !

  • Classic, nice little innuendo
