  • @koolpunkskater Hahaha. Somehow I took absolutely no offense to that.

But anyway - look up LichKingMetal on Facebook, MySpace, or YouTube. Also have two more bands in the works.

  • how would i get this to work on fl studio?

  • Hey dude your an amazing drummer. Is there any way that i can use my rock band 2 drum set or am i completley screwed. I was told that they are unable to be connected via usb.

  • damn ur good

  • can i have your drum set ??? i realy want o play ist a long time ago i playt on drums i playd in P.O.D

  • i have a doubt, n i hope someona coul help me plz...i have install everythin...my only question is...is there a way to put another sounds on my cymbals? i have the 3 cymbal expansion n they only do the same sound as my toms...it would be great !

  • how do you do that with two controllers?

  • hi excuse me, i dunno how 2 cofigure this with 2 drumsets, plus i dunno how to asign a diferet sound to each button, i want my drums to oun like yours ! i have 3drumstes ! i use mixcraft, isit esy 2 useth EZdrummr

  • The cymbals sound like crap but other then that great playing.

  • I'm trying to set this up in a slightly different way, but I was still curious as to what virtual midi driver you went with to run this multi-kit setup. MH suggests LoopBe1, is that what you went with? Thanks.

  • Thats pretty awesome, man. Your quite talented.

  • mad good idea using two sets. i only did it for one but ill get my friends set. does ezdrummer work good? cause im actually downloading it right now lol

  • thats pretty beast

  • VERY COOL!

  • man thats sick :O you awesome!

  • damn you're good...

  • thats fn amazin

  • Awesome, and great playing, but what's up with that horrible bass drum sound?

  • It's the Headbanger Kit in Garageband. I normally use EZ Drummer, but I don't think I had it at the time I made this video.

  • i like this pretty sick

  • um, how do i import midi to a program o make drum sounds?

  • You make this look so easy.

    Awesome program aswell

  • nice beat !

  • UR AWESOME. u have got an idea if wii band hero drums would work??? or wii instruments...how did you connect it???

  • No, Wii Guitar Hero/Band Hero instruments won't work because they use the Wiimote, and as of now only instruments that connect through USB work. Any Wii controllers for Rock Band will work, as well as any controllers on 360 or PS3.

  • but I think you can by bluetooth. I had managed to connect the wii remote trough bluetooth with the dongle so I suppose it might actually work. if not i will get the wire for MIDI

  • Connecting it through bluetooth won't work with the way MH is set up now. The wire for MIDI won't work either, since it's only a MIDI in for adjusting the drum sensitivity.

  • ah ok. sad. but I saw a guy doing it I'll just have a go.

  • Yeah, the big problem is a lot of Wiimote drivers (especially on OS X) map the buttons to the keyboard, rather than just read it as an input device. That won't fly with MH, sadly.

  • shit your good at that

  • Thanks. :-)

I'll have some videos of me playing real drums up eventually. Lich King is recording a full-length album soon so I'll try and set up a camera while I record.

  • this is fukcing cool, your drumming skillz are kick ass

  • your a pretty good drummer

  • Thanks :-)

Check out my bands if you like: myspace/agesagothrash and myspace/lichkingmetal

  • u rock!

  • Cool you are awesome ^^ 5/5

  • This isn't even a song, I was just screwing around.

I've heard good things about GH5, but RB > both GH3 and GHWT.

  • @BrianSpud33 i agree rockband is way better

  • wow man that was good drumming

  • Will miditar hero work like this normally? like with no lag? thanks.

  • I've tried MIDItar Hero on a number of computers, and the lag time between hitting a pad and hearing the sound has been no greater than 10 to 30 ms on every setup I've used. The program in itself only has 5 ms of lag programmed in (to deal with weird timing issues) and the rest comes from USB.

If you plug your drums into a USB hub, the lag will increase significantly - plug the drums directly into the computer's USB port instead.

  • we need a tut so we can do this too!!

  • Read the video info, everything is there.

  • I went and listened to your band...killer shit!!!!!

  • Thats awesome playing dude

  • OMG!!! That was great

  • Ok let's say you have a ps2 controller and a 360. If I wanted to do what you just did in the video do they have to be the same controller or it doesn't matter?

  • Doesn't matter, although 1. you'd have to use the custom controller option in MIDItar Hero to setup the PS2 controller and 2. I can't guarantee you that the PS2 controller will work.

Although I'm pretty sure the PS2 and PS3 RB controllers are the same thing, so if that's the case it should work fine.

  • i use the psp/ps3 one and it works fine

  • do you need rock band controllers? i have the guitar hero drum set and a rock band 1 drum set =/ will that work?

  • No, you can use any Rock Band or Guitar Hero controller of any type from any system, EXCEPT for the Wii Guitar Hero controllers. If you have a PS3 Guitar Hero controller and you're using a Mac, you'll need to use the custom controller option in MH for the time being.

  • Could I have 4 controllers hooked up? Just run 4 copies?

  • Yeah, you could do that, if you want an epic Neil Peart-esque RB drum set. :-)

  • Comment removed

  • Wow! I love the second drum beat!

  • thanks

  • how do you setup two drums?

i tried it and im getting the same thing on both.

    can you help me?

  • You need two copies of the Max/MSP Runtime installed, and you need to have MIDItar Hero open in both. Eventually I'll make it so you can pick two controllers, but I haven't quite around to that yet.

  • just start 2 different windows of MIDItar hero and map them to other pads (or the same, which you do for the bass pedal)

  • The only thing to keep in mind is that if you have two different windows of MH open in the same copy of the Runtime, both windows of MH crosstalk to each other.

  • Well it's safe to say that you are in fact better than me.

  • cool
