Huckabee distorted everything right there. He doesn't want to strip the military, he wants to bring out troops home from 900 bases and 130 countries. He wants the states to make their own drug laws, and not have a federal war on drugs. Paul disagrees with homosexuality and prostitution but the government has no business in being a parent to adults.

Huckabbee can't be that obtuse! Ron Paul does not advocate drug use or prostitution. He thinks the federal gov has no business making federal laws to govern them. He wants to leave it up to the states. He also believes in individual personal freedom to own your own life. Our inalienable rights as human beings such as the right to privacy and the right to be left alone.

As a Democrat, I had respect for Dr. Paul. He is a Gentleman and presents himself with class & dignity. I lost that respect for Dr. Paul when I learned he, as an intern, watched a baby be cut from his/her mothers' belly, put in a bucket on the floor and put in a corner to die while they all watched. What prevented him from taking that LIVE, CRYING baby out of that trash can and walking a few steps over to the Intensive Care Unit and saving it? He's lost my respect.
