I remember the first time I was exposed to the musical talents of Tom Morello....watching the vid of RAGE's Mexico City concert at my brothers one nite while all others slept. What he is capable of with a guitar is unimaginable, but I didnt fully comprehend the message at the time....

When RAGE split it was to me a shame that the music portal for their message was lost.

It is nice to see that Tom's convictions have not waivered over time and his musical talents continue to inspire me!

my great grandfather was the leader of the wisconsin chapter of the Retail Clerks International Association in the 1910's or 20's. he stood at a cash register for 16 hours a day, standing. they didnt get breaks, they got almost no pay, he lived in a 1 room apartment with his family, his wife and kids worked too.

Tom Morello isn't the best singer ever. Tom Morello isn't the best lyricist ever. He's an incredibly good guitarist, but not the best ever. But what he does have is heart, emotion determination and fearlessness. That's enough qualities for anyone to be inspired by.

What the heck is your problem? I was complimenting Morello and stating the truth about his musicianship. In fact I think his imperfections make his music easier to relate to. Go back and read my comment more carefully and stop being so quick to anger over the slightest things.

P.S Backstreet Boys are shit singers. They lip-synced live. An example of a technically great singer is Eric Burdon of The Animals or Michael Buble.

wow...No, what I'm saying is, if homosexuals don't have a choice to be gay or not, then there must be another underlying cause this is occurring. If its not nurture (socialization, which is reversible through conditioning) then it must be nature (human's hard-wired counterpart) i.e genes. So perhaps homosexuals have a genetic marker that evolution does not want put into the gene pool. So it has the human mate with the same sex. Thus procreation cannot occur.

Depending on how you look at it. Evolution of humans is about choices. Its human nature to make choices. Those choices have consequences (good and bad). We chose to farm cows, and drink their milk because it was the closest to our own. However, mostly all humans became lactose intollerant upon adult-hood. Yet, now most of us have the ability to drink milk well into old age. Which ultimately lead us to a healthier self, and extended life span.

Yes they do have the RIGHT. But personally, I still think that it is wrong. There is a gene that has been selected for removal (sort of speak). By using our technology, we're bypassing that demand. Every time we try to bypass nature, there are consequences (usually not good ones might I add). Evolution, and bear with me for a sec, may be very well aimed at a final goal. It might even have the illusion of randomness. But to discuss this may a bit more philosophical.

I don't see how the gene for homosexuality has been selected for removal. Evolution is not restricted to nature. Things evolve whether or not humans affect how they evolve. Finally, the principal cause of evolution is random mutations. Unless you're going to bring theological arguments(which I cannot argue with) evolution does not have direction. That is it does not have a goal.

Evolution is all about randomness as I'm sure you're aware. Refferring to the lactose example, at one time, random mutations in the gene pool caused people to be lactose tolerant. This was only a few people however since these kind of mutations don't occur frequently.

No its the other way around. Humans were mostly all lactose intollerant once they reached adult hood. But the mutation occurred that allowed humans to be able to metabolize lactose.
