There are so many freaken' great ballads that came out of rock bands. Silent Lucidity came on the radio when I was in the funeral procession for my best freind; dead at 24. I started crying so hard I almost put my IROC into a tree (thank god for my wife). Silver springs by the Mac. I was doing sound and lights for my cousin's band, got to practice and they were playing "Like a Hurricane" Neil Young. I swear I was IN the nightclub where I met one of my girlfreinds. Music HAS Power!

@kingbuggie I was 14 in 1980, it was a great time for music. Listen to Moving Pictures by Rush, it's a classic. Old rock is still the best. Iron Maiden, Old Ozzy (Blizzard of Ozz) and Def Leppards High and Dry album, listen to that one and drink a few cold refreshments and you'll feel like you're in rock and roll overdrive.
