the bible is written by man anyway, i also believe God had something to do with the big bang, but religion is crazy

All I ask as an Atheist is logic. As long as religion doesn't get forced on to me or claim that what they "believe" is fact... all is good. I would fight for anyone's right to believe in whatever they want. Even if I think its stupid. But keep religion out of our laws.

nah, like i believe in God but i can't ignore the science of evolution and all that stuff. and i respect peoples choice to be an atheist and i don't think its bad. but i liked your video coz you aren't attacking beliefs, other atheist videos are so full of hate for something millions of people believe in and its disrespectful.

I wish more people thought like you. We don't know how everything started. And the problem is religion claims to actually know how it started... and that's a lie. And I would call what you believe: a human just like the rest of us. Not knowing any more or any less.

saying that god is real because of the bible is the same as if someone came up to you in the street and said prove god. then you would say ok and hand them a note written by a random person you dont know that says "god is real". "theres my proof right there" you'd say

Being a Christian, athiests attack me with Evolution, Natual Selection, and Darwinism.
I believe in all of those things, however, along with the existence of God.
When it comes to questions about God that don't have answers, those are the questions that you need to answer for yourself. Nobody else can answer them.
Answering those questions MYSELF is what made me sure that God exists.

I've been in the same place you are now in regards to religion. It was one of my steps to finally admitting to myself that there was no god. And that's not to say that there isn't something bigger than us. Just that it's not the god type figure that religion sells to the people. Religion abuses people and the "holy" books are tools used by men to control them. Check out my "always something bigger than you" video. I think you will like it.

I was brought up in the church as well, and I have come to realize that it is all just myth. I would love to believe in miracles and in impossible things, and maybe I do in a way, i don't know.I can't call myself and atheist because I just don't know. I don't think anyone really knows. I would like to think there is something beyond death. But if there is a god, no man has an understanding of who or what he is. does that make me agnostic? Well, whatever.

Your religion is a lie just like all the other ones. They say that myths are facts and that's a lie. But it's ok for you because your magic book actually tells you it's perfectly fine to lie to infidels. I know you.

I do believe in god, but not in religion...
The reason why is that the life is so artistic -not full of beauty since it got some ugliness think but artistic- then I think that some way there is a "great creator". That the only reason why I believe in a god, but not the usual way. Does it make since to you or is just futile?

I answer in two part.What I think is weird, but I'm a weirdo ;)
First: For me, God it's only an idea of an abstract object link with existence and beeing it self.
I don't think it's human like, I don't know if we kind understand it or either if I'm right (or wrong), I just think it's something that could put "all" to "nothing".
I believe this, personally, because the all universe make me fill like if there is some art to this and the universe seem logic...

I think that religion was an invention of a god be human, a god with is a transcendent supernatural being ,human like, infinite, omnipresent, omnipotent, incorporeal, transcendent and immanent.
I think it was create to push a moral code via: Practices, values, institutions, tradition, rituals, and scriptures. All this link with fear and non-sense...
I think it was create to get some power, like some liar create sect or cult...

What? When they reach their 30's they start to get smater? Ja..ja! They are closed-minded! Sir! What they learned from their childhood that is what they will always beleive. You will never change because you have reached your 30's. When you are younger, you can change and beleive other things. And it is WISE!!!! to change and not be stuch in a beleif, like you, sir. :D

Based on your answer, I know for sure you have reached your 30's, this might sound stupid what I said but when people reach their 30's, they are closed-minded. I am so sure that you would be really releived if you know that those 10 men (Jeohvas' witnesses) are the ones in the alley. You would prefer those people to be religious people than normal people..I can asure you that, sir.

If you are walking on an alley with your wife and your 6-month newborn, very late at night...and you see 10 men approaching you in that dark alley, would you be afraid? Of course you will.
Now,
how would you feel if you knew that those 10 men are coming from attending a Bible class, would you be as much afraid for your newborn and your woman knowing that they come from a Bible class? Answer that truthfully....see my point?

10 men in an alley are 10 men in an alley. It doesn't matter if they came from bible class. Monsters like Jim Jones, Hitler and Fred Phelps read and study the bible. Danger is danger. But what would make me worry more is someone forcing a religion on to everyone. You should also fear that.

i am a zen christian, i read the bible zen-style and do not take everything in there literal. i go directly to God, commune. also, i happen to love science, the universe, and i am comfortable to accept that i may be wrong about God in the end, in death.

This boils down to "I became an atheist because religious people suck." lol. This is no better than rejecting the theory of evolution because social Darwinists were immoral people or because science teachers are crappy at explaining how it works. Your reasons are the same as theirs, man. :/

and what's wrong with that? if a teacher doesn't properly explain evolution it should be only natural that some people chose not to believe. the problem is religious people do believe the crappy teachers, educated people think for them selves, if a teacher explained anything to me in a way i didnt understand i would take it upon myself to do the research and never take the face value of an incompatint person
