@peteherbst Yup, the Squire Stratocaster should be out early next year. Since it's an actual guitar, playing Pro Mode on it will teach you how to play the song for real. Rock Band 3's training mode is pretty in depth for it, as well, so as long as players put in the effort, they should see some results!
@RevJesseJackson I can kind of see where you're coming from. Does the inclusion of the new Pro Mode change anything for you? It certainly comes with a hefty price, but I think the implementation of practicing a real instrument would make it a little more interesting, not to mention more productive!
@gamezombieutube It makes me a bit more interested to see where the game is headed for sure, but I will probably not buy this game. I'm all guitar hero'd and rock band'd out. I can already play these instruments, so I don't really need a "pro mode".
@milzdr09 The entirety of Rock Band 3 is still entirely compatible with the classic five button guitars. Pro Mode is an additional mode, not a replacement. All upcoming DLC will be charted for the classic guitar controllers as well, so no one's getting left out. :)
@razorthrash I was initially disappointed to learn that they're only including the notes that the right hand would play, but considering how crowded the screen will be with four instrument tracks at once, I guess it's pretty logical. At least they picked the more interesting hand for us to play!
You can afford to use a HD camera, and edit the video. Then you can afford to do good sound. Get a shotgun mic... Can't hear the guy you are interviewing.
Really excited for this game, and glad it's coming out around the holidays. I'm pooling all of my cash gifts towards this game and the Squire Stratocaster
Rock Band is where its at!

Very informational video. I don't know much about Guitar Hero and it's cool to hear about the different guitars and all the new features.

I was never a fan of the music genre as far as instruments go...it's a bit boring to me. I'm alright with ddr though.

It is nice to see that they simplified the keyboard for casual players.
