I actually heard from somewhere that this song was about the clean-up process of a victim from a suicide bombing... I dunno but since then the lyrics always made sense.
I love the way the snare drum sounds in this tune. And the part where the drummer alternates between the drum head and the rim starting around 1:20 ish
@ganjaking187 Gaga actually has legitimate talent. Hate The Biebz all you like, but just because someone sings pop doesn't mean they're all "fake". Broad got into the Julliard School of Music at 12, writes all her own lyrics, does a bunch of the choreography herself, etc etc. You don't have to like the music, but respect talent where due.
Replace your hate with Brittany Spears or something instead imo.
@Cessate its not talent when your using pro tools pitch correction, im just sick of the robot voice these days i haven't heard a real singers voice since the 90's. it seems like there is a dozen artist that rule the music market these days and there is no variety thats called a monopoly and it has no place in the arts.
@ganjaking187 Gaga rarely, if ever uses pitch tools, unless it actually goes with the song. There's more than enough live and "Before Gaga" footage of her to prove this.
And I agree, but I also don't listen to the Top 40, or anything mainstream these days solely due to that issue. There's a gross amount of legitimate bands still out there, you just need to look. Shit, Filter is still around; they just released a new album last year.
@Cessate it just seems like there is always 2 or 3 musicians that are hyped up so much that it gets to the point that its sickening, i just wish there was more variety. i don't even listen to mainstream music i never have so it doesn't bother me too much but i feel sorry for kids now cause its shoved down there throat so much there pretty much forced to like it. peace
@ganjaking187 Which brings me to the news article I read online today about Beiber fans ragging on Twitter because Neil Young won Artist of the Year at the Junos. They were complaining that "No one knows who Neil Young even is, Beiber should have won."
this is the kind of music that you will never hear nowdays, today's music has gone through such a downward spiral now its this lady gaga bullshit, we need to bring back alternative rock bands like Moist back into the picture! 90's rock forever! :)
nostalgia!!!! i love this song so much!!!! it's beautiful! david usher really builds it up and sings it with passion. i love moist. what a great band to grow up with!!! i remember spending nights with this in my cd player before i'd sleep, and listening it now reawakens so many old memories and thoughts
Creature was the first album I ever bought.. I must have been 9 years old (came out in '96 if I'm not mistaken) and I treasured it sooo much (and was completely in love with David..:P )
Moist is still one of my very favourite bands after all these years. I've seen David Usher live twice, but am gutted I'll likely never get to see the band perform..
@warinspiredidiot I was completely in love with him back then, too. You know he was more likely to fall in love with someone a little older than 9. Um, I'm not telling you how much older I am, now I feel ancient. lol
wow..been lookin' for this vid for "ages"(you-tube land)..finally..goosbumpy....reminds me of the 90's....blurry...what a decade.....so glad i was part of it(and of drinkin' age....)..........thanx again this is beautiful..........
THANK_YOU!!!!! I freakin love this song! Too bad Moist, Bush, and other such bands stopped creating such incredible music. The children of this generation are missing out on so much!
@halifaxmtl666 Me too. we were lucky to grow up as teens to music that really had meaning and touched, and was just purely kick ass. It's all too much about pushing albums now, no quality or substance.

@Ubuntufrog So why aren't you breeding? Can video games out do that? Sadly, most people say yes until two terms of a George W. Bush presidency.
