here are a few questions
does it use air waves like a commercial radio station?
how far can one expect to reach with different setups? those of us that are interested in ham but don't have a clue on where to start will greatly appreciate it.

If you want to help and be recognized instead of toast then prepare to be around then and not right at the beginning. @dsarti1's cage antenna is awesome though.
