@Sarcastic07 My prediction is that when Arthur does find out about Merlin it'll be because he has to save Uther or Gwen's life and so Arthur will see that magic is good and keep his secret for him =) But then he'll also feel inferior which could bring out some excellent emotional, angst-ridden scenes.
Actually, I don't really care what happens, as long as they keep bantering so wonderfully and in such a way that it can be easily manipulated to seem homoerotic =D
@acklevoy That is such a good prediction! I can see it more for Gwen then for Uther. Honestly I love A.H. but I hate Uther lol. I wont cry when he dies or "retires." I agree! As long as they keep the humor they have with each other along with some (or course necessary) Angst written scenes then the fans will be happy. I can't wait till years from now when Gwen cheats on Arthur with Lancelot..and who will be there for Arthur? ooooo right MERLIN! lol.

And I can totally see that happening, Arthur turning to Merlin for consolation haha =P And I'm 18. I just got into Merthur because it is pretty much the only way to make that show watchable. I mean, 'Merlin' is good fun, but it isn't a great quality show. It's getting better though.

@acklevoy ahh I totally disagree! I love the cheesy effects! They crack me up! But I know what you mean. Arthur and Merlin are the only reasons you watch the show. Cuz everyone knows the end result...but we have never seen the story this "charming." I think it is more relatable having them be the same age. Somehow making homoerotic movies of an old man and a child doesn't seem that romantic lol.

@Sarcastic07 I do like the different take on it (with Merlin being the submissive one), and the cheese is occasionally quite good =D It is a good bit of TV, nice and light-hearted but actually quite emotional sometimes. As long as you don't take it too seriously =P
But now I'm just waiting for the actual storyline of the Arthur + Merlin legend to make an appearance.

Arthur wants to go fight/save someone, Uther forbids him; Merlin wants to go save someone with magic, Gaius forbids it; they each disobey their respective elders; Merlin secretly saves Arthur's life with magic; everything turns out okay with occasional deaths that don't really matter; Uther + Gaius forgive Arthur and Merlin (they just want them safe); Arthur jokes around with Merlin and then makes him clean his armour. =D
