no joke here, when I take garlic pills every day I don't catch colds. I have been doing it since the mid 80's. I did quit the garlic after I was disabled and not around people much. But sure enough, if I came in contact with someone with a cold i caught it. Since then, I take my garlic daily and I haven't caught a cold since. Garlic doesn't cure a cold, it only prevents them.
