  • If this were a sane world, Peter Schiff would be the odds on favorite and charlatans like Richard Blumenthal would be a 100:1 long shot.

  • You want proof he's sincere? I saw a video of Schiff in 2007 with not a gray hair on his head. This guy has had a hard time watching his country go down the tubes.

  • the government is using our consumerism against us. we're all out there looking for the best value at the cheapest prices, but the very institutions that provide those cheap products like wal-mart and such are the ones who get their products from foreign sources like china and sri lanka, who are supporting the US's debts to those countries in the first place.

  • scary thing is ...

it took 15 - 20 years to physicaly move our industrial base over to china

guess how long its going to take to move it back?

    whos going to do it?

amoral american christain politicians have sold their asses to the highest bidder(VERY large corporations out for a quick profit)

meanwhile the average american goes through the nightmare of recession/depression/house loss etc

do you think your representative gives a shit?

    youre just pigs to him/her..swine

  • People need to listen to Peter & apply commons sense to our problems. People also need to get the idea out of their minds that there is a pain free solution to our problems.

  • In our world the most unproductive parts of the economy steals from the most productive parts.

As the parasite drains more from the host, it gets bigger. In it's death throws, the parasite blames the host for being to weak to feed it.

  • Now we have a a Peter Schiff and two Dr. Paul.

    Will we make it?

  • If not, go look at Argentina or Zimbabwe. Either way inflation will be felt and the dollar will lose value.

The only way is to cut all this spending, kill the fed, implement their policies AND have another Gates or Edison or Ford invent the next big thing here and make everyone else respect our intellectual property.

My guess sadly is that these supermen/truth tellers/wakeup call has come too late.

  • I agree, I will try to accelerate my solution :).

  • @smokinranger8

Yeah, like 30 years ago. I predict in 20 years, parts of the USA will look like Haiti.

  • @Luvanicebum

Many inner cities already do. I should know, I grew up/currently live aprox. 40min. from Detroit. It is a sad site indeed, and I don't think it is the exception as far as inner cities go.

Honolulu (where I go every/every other year) for the most part is the sole exception I have found in this USSA.

  • I didn't want to use that extreme yet, but hey....if the shoe fits...

    It's sad.

I finally figured out how to invest. Just invest in any country that supplies cheap labor. Cheap labor is the hottest commodity ever and

someday, maybe 50 years from now, America will become it again. When Americans are standing in bread and cooked rice lines and starving by the millions, it will be time to invest here again.

  • @Luvanicebum There are parts that already do. Cincinnati has neighborhoods like Bond Hill and Avondale that are lethal and run down. I'm sure that there are many other cities that are like Haiti, New Orleans comes to mind.

  • no.

  • Don't forget Dr. Paul's son, Rand, in Kentucky.

  • i wish they made economy 101 a requirement in school. i only tried to understand this stuff a few years ago. Just think if more people understood this and cared about who repersented them.

  • @primcrew

Read "Conspiracy of the Rich" by Robert Kiyosaki and you'll know why

  • Man, I hope he gets elected. Imagine a gov't run with men of integrity for capitalism & limited government
