Yes they have. I think Steve Purcell was listening to the fans all the time. In Sam and Max: Freelance Police, there is an easter egg that has a fan talking to Steve Purcell about the show and that Steve Purcell responds to him by signing an autograph to his fan. I think that Dave Grossman and Steve Purcell did respond to the fans out there.
