i believe if the buffalos didn't interrupt the giraffe would have killed the lioness on the ground...it was clearly already in bad conditions when the giraffe kept kicking it, so i guess it must have received some good ass kick in the face

The young lioness was not killed. She ran off and was chased by the giraffe into the lugga. You can see she is dazed as she falls over. The giraffe is then spooked by the buffalo then chased off by an older lion. The young lioness comes out of the bushes at the end of the clip no doubt a bit brusied and sore. She was lucky, not so the baby giraffe.

Giraffes have been known to decapitate lions. A lion's only chance is in a very large herd. There is actually a video on YouTube where an injuried giraffe is finally taken down by a male lion and his 6 or 7 lionesses. If it takes that many to kill an injured giraffe, how many would it take to kill a healhty one!
