its not entirely difficult to create a character successfully... but you will get pissed at how many times you load your save just to pull that small opertunity to keep that really good player that hasn't impressed the scouts enough. GOD I HATE THAT.

Im going to save before the dream game next time and then if i get beat badly, I keep restarting the game until I finally win. Either that or I keep trying until I get bored.

ah i have a question..i managed to defeat the team patrick is in ..and that was in year 3..is it the end of the success mode? because it says congratulations..and there was this scout saying that i have to sign this for being in the minor league i think..i didnt even faced alvin lockhart..thanks for replying

after beating patrick, you should have gone into the playoffs and when you get beaten in the playoffs, or beat the playoffs its over

Best part of success mode is that once you complete it the first time, you can skip to abbrieviated messages...far less tedious. Plus, I've created at least 80 characters for it, and still occasionally see something new in the course of gameplay. (I have the WII version and it's still my favorite game)

yup its a great game especially 4 wii. success mode is basically u make a player that goes through college and if he does good he'll go to the majors. mpp 2008 has that too plus a mode that has you go through life as a major leaguer minus the college.

WELL YOUR IN LUCK! MLB Power pros 2008 comes out this july......I shit you not! This is great for me because they'll have the nat's stadium not doubt and they're my home team. YEAH GO NATS!...I know they need work but who cares. Oh! I read in Nintendo power that they're also making a DS version. Can't wait for that.

It's supposed to come out in July if everything goes well in developement or whatever. And it will be called MLB Power Pros 2008 not MLB Power Pros 2.

Success mode is soo addictive I checked how long I played Power Pros on my Wii and it said 4:31 I was like daaaaaaamn... Even though it felt like minutes.

power pro baseball series came out in like 1992 i believe... as a kid i loved it so much and played it everyday.

then every year, new version came out.. power pro 2 in 1994, power pro 3 in 1995 and so on... the latest one is power pro 12 i believe.

i'm so glad they ported it (MLB edition) to america because i always thought 'damn, all these people (other than japanese) are missing out on this great baseball game'.
