You should post the entire video and show us the whole story instead of a video which is edited to make this agent look bad. @angryadrien I actually know many Border Patrol Agents and have been to their station in Campo(town in southern California by the southern border)and Brownfield and their station in Detroit. And I can tell you that you are completely wrong and it seems that you are just making assumptions, probably based on these videos which are edited to debase the reputation of these agents. It's true that agents aren't required to have a College level degree, that doesn't mean they lack real knowledge.

There probably have been agents that have overstepped their bounds, just like there have been police that have done so, but again, blame the people responsible, not the entire BP. If a cop is corrupt, be upset with the corrupt cop, hold the cop responsible, not the entire police force or all police in general. Without the BP, we'd all be REALLY screwed.

@angryadrien All the agents that I know from the Southern Border put their lives on the line and everyone that I've asked, have all said that they've been shot at before and some had to face bandits, been in a task force, gone undercover and faced drug cartels. And the agents in Detroit not only protect the northern border, but also act as peace officers, helping the police fight crime in Detroit, whether it's fighting gangs, drug dealers, prostitution, etc.

The only people that usually get questioned have U.S. license plates. And you know that every license plate is recorded by cameras and reviewed by agents sitting in the trailer.
