Not in my entire life will I own a palm product even if it promises to send me to paradise (including the 72 virgins) This is the biggest piece of c£$p they have ever come up with. Sreen does not work properly, connection to pc can drive you to distruction,software is never available from palm etc.etc.

I destroyed my TX and had great pleasure in doing so, farewell and good riddance you expensive piece of worthless c£$p.

the tx fn blows balls, no free apps and if you find one it dont work, locks up the internet constantly , cant do half the stuff it says it does

I think this is a good review, but the device is OLD,i mean 4 years old as technology, there is very little or no software development for this device...

some nursing and medical students still use it though.

This is easily the BEST P.D.A. out there. I have had mine for three years, and I would have to say it's up there right beside the Apple Ipod Touch in it's excellence. Great music play, great video playback, great web surfing, and great games. I also prefer it over Palm's Pre phone!

why the video doesn't sounds with the same quality of the audio player? obviously the music was added during the video editing u_u

Because the Audio was dubbed in durring editing. Trust me the device speaker on the back of the T/X doesn't sound THAT good and I don't see external speakers connected to the mini phono plug in the top. The phono plug would give you Hi Fidility Stereo sound through headphones but nothing is plugged into it. The video playback has lower quality sound because the processor is playing Video and Audio at the same time and the Codec has limited speed.

In this case is not a "Pocket PC"...is a Palm PDA...And no you can not use a SIM card because this PDA its not a phone. But in my opinion its a warrior...not like the new iphone...The only i think its on the same level or better its the Android OS.

Depends, if you are on the internet, maybe an hour or so, but if you are watching a movie, about 5-7 hours.

You're right. You should get a 2gb SD card because 4gb cards aren't SD, but SDHC, which is not supported by the Palm TX, and yes, the Palm TX does come with a cover. I havn't had any problems with it since I got it in 2006.

Hi, just letting you know of some info, Palm TX can accept 4GB SD cards (you're right, SDHC not supported). Just have to look for the 4GB SD card(s). No special software needed, just plug in 4GB SD card, and your palm reads it like any other card.

Just remember,

4GB SD = yes (it exists, I'm using 2 4GB SD cards)

4GB SDHC = no (already tried, Palm doesn't see it).
