  • Hello! Why is this custom Gibson so cheap compared to other Gibson customs?

  • Beautiful video! I'm planning to buy this guitar but I would know what do you thing about the fingerboard..is it good or not? and what do you thing about the guitar in general

  • i have one of these and the neck, electronics, and pickups are incredible.

  • How does this guitar handle overdrive or even distortion?

  • @156Denniz It has '57 Burstbuckers so handling distortion and overdrive is not a problem at all.

  • @GibsonAMI So, you changed pickups? Because the Midtown Custom has Burstbucker...

  • @alexstrat Thanks for listening. My apologies for that, they are standard burstbuckers 1 & 2. I accidently wrote 57. Cheers

  • @GibsonAMI No problem :) Well played, I really love this Gibson.

  • question is good quality since the fingerboard is paper lol? im not trying to troll just asking

  • @FIGURES2U I was also interested in what the fingerboard would be like on this guitar. After playing it extensively, I think it sounds just as good than other models with rosewood fingerboards. Check the gibson website under 24/7 Support - there's an FAQ all about the new fingerboards.

  • @FIGURES2U feels like glass/ebony.

  • great playing! any chance of a demo with few overdriven power chords on the bridge pickup?

  • Thankyou for listening. I love the slick, fast feel of this fingerboard. If I had to pinpoint its sonic value,it would lean to the focus and tight attack of ebony. Richlite is a dense, hardwearing material that certainly was a great match to the overall guitar, if it sounds good and feels just right, dont let it stand in your way. Only by going into a store and playing this guitar you will find out how many sonic colours and pure tone it can offer.

  • what do you think about the fingerboard? that's the only thing that might stand in the way for me :P

  • Thanks for your kind comment. I am finding this to be one of the most versatile semi hollow guitars that I have played. It has a beautiful slim taper 60's style neck, perfectly matched burst bucker pick ups which makes it ideal for all styles of playing. You'll notice at 0.25 with the neck & bridge pick up engaged together you'll get a nice bouncing country twang. At 0.36 back to neck pick up for an awesome thick mid range tone. The flat maple top really sets it apart. Play one you'll love it.

  • @GibsonAMI thanx a lot!

  • hey man can you tell me your opinion about this guitar?nice playng though!
