  • i was a medic in the late 70s and never worked in a hosp. but spent a lot of time in graf+hoenseld germany.you go where they need you.guess where that is. back then medics were not as highly trained as now but got the job done.

i was with 47 med bn d co amb plt. they were 91b,c20s,30s=68ws. medics are top 2 or 3 targets. ever notice all the young ladies that are medics OUT FRONT?

  • no one will ever pick on a medic lol

  • Can someone possibly message me back? I want to be some form of medic in the military, whether it is being a Corpsman in the Navy or a Medic in the Army. Do medics engage in combat? Are they deployed with a regiment or platoon or anything? I need some more info. Thanks.

  • @gowolves4 i think Medic's do fight but they stay back, ha i dont know anything about this im just using what i believe is common sense :P why would they throw the most valuable assets in the frontlines?

  • @SubZer0x4 they are there on the front lines where do you think the injured are?

  • @gowolves4 you get a choice to be with a combat unit or stay at a hospital i think. there not in the front lines but they are in combat they stay back untill they get an opportunity to help the injured

  • so what certs do military combat medics have? EMT, AEMT, EMT-p?
