  • did you have to put hicompression pistons in your accord to turbo it? if so where...im wanting to turbo my accord but i cant find hicomp pistons

  • @xpbemythx why would you put hi comp pistons in a turbo motor?? you want to detonate and blow it up?

stay at or below stock compression ratio

  • @xpbemythx high compression pistons? why on earth would you raise the compression for forced induction?

  • @xpbemythx Generally you LOWER the compression ratio if you plan on running boost. However, the J30A1 is low enough compression to safely run mild boost without concern. It sill will be slow.

  • @xpbemythx why in gods name would you put high compression pistons in a turbo motor????? you LOWER the compression if you wanna run high boost.

  • @xpbemythx i think you need low compression pistons not high.. for turbo applications

  • @xpbemythx It would actually need Low Compression Pistons. Turbocharging raises the Compression ratio. If you add high compression pistons it could cause pre detonating. I belive the stock V6 accords are around 9.0:1 Compression which is low enough to run moderate boost.

  • @xpbemythx uhh, you never should put high compression with boost...

  • @xpbemythx you would put low compression when you turbo a street car not high compression unless your building a racecar which usually doesnt last that long when you have high compression mixed with turbo..

  • @xpbemythx High compression + Turbo = Bad

Boosted cars should use aroud 9:5 compression.

  • is that the j30a1 with turbo ??

  • Siick!

  • what happened to the J32?
