actually she said 'that's very deep' after Alison she explained she chose the eraser because DC were splitting up. The whole interview isn't meant to be serious, obviously, it's just a bit of fun, and everyone is taking it waaaaaay too seriously. I actually think both hosts did a great job, it was funny, sure Alison was aloof, but it made the whole thing work.
